​Crenshaw Consulting Engineers Provided the Plumbing, Mechanical, Fire Alarm and Electrical Engineering Designs Including Many Renewable Energy Features.
The project was the renovation of a 43,500 SF former ice skating rink.

Crenshaw Consulting designed the plumbing, mechanical, electrical and fire alarm engineering design. Facility Performance Consulting provided the commissioning.

Photovoltaic design is a combination of building mounted and solar tree system that includes:
  • Two Solar Trees = 26.4 kW(DC)
  • Roof Mounted Polycrystalline System – Comprised of 48 Modules Connected through one 12 kW Inverter = 11.52 kW(DC
  • Second Roof Mounted Polycrystalline System – Comprised of 12 Modules Connected through one 3 kW Inverter = 2.88 kW(DC)

​In addition, Crenshaw Consulting provided the design for 2 wind turbine systems on the site.

All of the systems on this building will be used to supplement the buildings electrical service. 
  • A vertical axis turbine 
  • 7 horizontal axis roof mounted turbines
