Crenshaw Consulting Engineers, Inc. (CCE) is a plumbing, mechanical, electrical, structural, fire alarm and telecommunications engineering firm that specializes in providing Engineering Services as well as Solar Photovoltaic design, LEED design, LEED Coordination, Energy Modeling and Building Commissioning for a wide range of project types including; commercial, educational, institutional, industrial and residential facilities for private, federal, city and military sectors. Other additional services that Crenshaw Consulting offers is Industrial and Process Engineering.
CCE was formed in 1995 by Jim Crenshaw, PE, LEED AP BD+C and is a small business. The firm home office is located in Raleigh, NC - with additional offices in Palm Bay, FL and Greenville, SC - and is currently licensed and actively providing Engineering Services in 39 States/territories to include North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Alabama, Indiana, Tennessee, Texas, Arizona, Mississippi, Maryland, DC, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Missouri, Colorado, Louisiana, Georgia, Oregon, West Virginia, Kentucky, Nebraska, Hawaii, California, Michigan, Illinois, New Jersey, Wisconsin, New York, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Vermont, and Alaska.
Nineteen Professional Engineers are on staff, twelve with over twenty years experience in this specific field. In total we have a talented and dedicated staff of forty four people, all of whom share a commitment to provide the best service to each of our clients.
The depth of our experience is represented in our vast portfolio of projects. Our dedication to provide only the highest quality engineering designs is evidenced by the number of valued clients that we team with on a regular basis on numerous projects each year. We engineer over 500 projects a year with 90% from repeat clients and have never missed a deadline. Every project will be personally engineered and commissioned by a professional engineer. We take our quality and performance personally as our name is on the door.
CCE broke off the building commissioning, LEED coordinating and energy audit functions and formed a new small business; Facility Performance Consulting (FPC). The partnership has allowed enhanced commissioning to be offered as another valuable service for Crenshaw Consulting Engineers clients. FPC is CxA certified by the AABC (Associated Air Balance Council) and has a Certified and Existing Building Commissioning Professional by the Association of Energy Engineers on staff as well. FPC has a professional staff of three; two professional engineers and an EIT dedicated to providing these services.

That is why we are known to have designs that work, are cost-effective, and exceed our clients’ expectations.
