Description:
Alterations to Eleven Procedure Rooms was a task order under an IDIQ for Architectural Engineering and Design Services for Various Projects, Marine Coprs Base Camp Lejeune. Crenshaw Consulting Engineers, Inc. with MBF Architecture provided the engineering and the architectural designs for this 15,000 SF renovation of a space that was originally constructed in 1982. Extensive field investigation and input from medical staff enabled the design team to make informed decisions regarding the design, and the selection of finish materials. A complex phasing plan was developed, allowing portions of the OR suite to function continuously during the construction process
Crenshaw Consulting Engineers, Inc. provided the designs for the renovation of eleven procedure/operating rooms and several additional spaces which included; recovery rooms, a nurses station and offices, a cystoscopy suite, a sterile supply storage room, a new corridor, and locker rooms for the staff. The electrical engineering designs for this project consisted of 25 push button hands free doors, 30 card readers, 40 station internal intercom per NH facilities, 2 additional duplex critical power outlets in each of the 11 operating/procedure rooms, and for new energy efficient lighting throughout the space. The mechanccal design consisted of installing new dual duct VAV terminals connected with existing four pipe VAV air handler and rezoining air space. Const. Est.: $1,355,000
